 I'm Susan Downing, and along with my co-authors Megan, Matthew, and Denis, we've created a series of books filled with childhood wonder, outdoor fun, and the magic of reading. But these books aren't just for kids—they're for parents too! As a mom who read to my children every night, I often found myself wishing for books that I genuinely enjoyed as well. That’s why we wrote stories that spark imagination, adventure, and laughter for both children and the adults who read with them. 

 Bradykin isn’t just a character; he’s family—bringing tales of love, friendship, and adventure to life. With stunning illustrations by Chris and Maria Young, our books make story time a shared experience that both parents and kids look forward to. 

But Bradykin is more than just a book series-it's a movement. In today's digital age, we're on a mission to help kids get outside, play, and read -because we know that time spent in nature and with loved ones plays a crucial role in children's mental health and overall wellbeing.
